Thumbs up Bulk Purchase - Temperature Alarm / Monitor

I approached a company in the US about a discount for thier temperature monitor/alarms even though I thought it was a good price to start with.

There are two units, the difference is that one has a relay kit so you can attach it to what ever you like but most probable a fan or something to swtch on at a specific temperature.

Here's a link to the products on ebay:

    LINK $149 unit

    LINK $129 unit

    Here's the deal:
With discount and registered mail delivered to your door per unit prices would be:

    $109.65 standard unit @ 10 units
    $103.20 standard unit @ 21 units

    $126.65 plus relay kit @ 10 units
    $119.20 plus relay kit @ 21 units

The seller does not want to deal with multiple payments so initially payment to me then transfered to the seller as one single amount.
Payment options can be sorted out later but can include posted cheque, paypal, bank transfer, what ever you want really
Obviously if there is a cost inccured with the payment method you choose you will need to cover that also.
Delivery will take about 10 days by registered mail once payment has been made for the units.

I will update the post with the amount of requests I get so we know what discount we are likely to get.
So initially I would like firm numbers of who is interested and how many would you like?

Not 100% sure from your previous post - are they being sent directly to the buyer, or via you for distribution?

Might be a dumb question, but where do you attach the senser to on a 300tdi?

    Cheers

This seems to act on the temperature of the water like a normal gauge does. How does it detect a catastrophic loss of water where there is all of a sudden no water - like a normal temp gauge this will just read the temp around the sender which will not get all that hot when there is no water inn the engine.

I would have thought this would be a much safer option for not a lot more Low Water Alarm Sensor

Don't think this sensor has anything to do with the water temp. It bolts on externally to the motor, often a rocker cover bolt is used & it measures engine temp from that.

It attaches on or around the engine block to a suitable bolt, what I have read it can react quicker than the standard analouge gauge, but not having tested one I can be sure. The standard gauge reacts to water temperature, no water.. no temperature !

Your right that gauge tests the water level as well but for not far off three times the cost. They both have their drawbacks and advantages.
I would advise anyone to research any mod to thier vehicle to see what suits them best I'm not going to try to defend or attack any products. I believe this one will be OK for my purposes. If anyone else wants one thats great I'm happy to organise and we get a cheaper price.

I understand that the basic low water alarm is only $170.
