    gearbox removal in 92' disco

    ok so the thrust bearing in my disco has collapsed so im pulling the box out i have undone everything required as far as i no but box still wont budge im thinking maybe still a bolt or 2 still in were the box meets the engine just wondering if anyone knows how many bolts there from bellhousing to block i have removed 7 so far and cant get my hand all the way around to see if there is 1 more please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You may have to remove the g/box mounts and drop the back of the box down enough to get to the bellhousing bollts up the top near the firewall, make sure you have the box well supported on the jack, Regards Frank.
