    Matt,

Bang on mate ... next job is to slowly go over the entire vehicle and replace all rusty screws, clean up and repaint anything showing any signs of rust or surface rust. I may gal the door frames as well at some point but that would require a respray of colour for the truck ...

It makes a huge difference to get those seemingly little things up to snuff again ... breathes new life into the vehicle.

    Simon.

Indeed. I took a sample of each of the different sizes of original screws to a bolt shop and got stainless items. Total cost ~$5, and they will never rust.

Well ... got on to replacing the screws in the headlight surrounds today and also did same with all indicator lamps. Additionally I decided that the wing top vents needed a dose of the VHT and they too got new screws ... see below.

    This ...

    To this ...

    Getting sprayed then fitted ...

    Best, Simon.

    Grilles etc

White Landy with the white grille and headlight surrounds looks quite so-fiss--tee-cated.

Reckon the colour co-ordination route looks better than the black...

    My 2 cents worth !

    James from Perth.
