Give me till the weekend and I'll pop it out and take pics. Only takes 5 minutes to get it out.

Sent from my mobile tellingbone using rock carvings.
If you could take a few pics that would be great Andrew. Thanks for the link to yours as well Stuee.

If you want pics of mine I can email them and you're welcome to post them up. I went to a bit of trouble with the way the shroud and rad are mounted.

    cheers, DL

Well its been awhile since i posted this thread. And once again i have changed my cooling set up I have gone with the Ford twin thermo set up and shroud. And it does work a treat compared to what i previously had set up.But as usual i have a small problem That sensor i have set up for it is switching the fans on to early at 89 degrees and off at 78 which it wont get to.How have people set up there fans to switch on and off? I tried the one where you put the sensor in the top radiator and adjust it but it constantly leaks from the hose.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks
    Chris

You buy the Davies Craig adaptor for the top rad hose that has a swage fitting to take the bulb, instead of being jammed under the hose

If you fan turn off temp is below your thermostat closing temp then it's not gonna happen either

    Any news on the sump?

My fault, I forget to reply, I check on the phone, then think I'll reply later and don't

That's cool, it'll get here eventually

I used a jaycar voltage switch kit tapped off my vdo sender sitting in the top hose (used for a stand alone temp gauge).

Sender lives in something like this:
36mm 1/8 NPT Water temp Gauge Radiator Hose Sensor Adaptor Blue | eBay

While I'm not setting up thermos on the 101 I will be putting a sender and gauge into the top hose for an auxiliary reading of temp.

Alternatively, if the jaycar kit is too much messing around, you can get similar T-pieces that can fit a generic thermo fan switch:
    Thermo Fan Switches | Tridon

The thermo fan switch would be perfect.I just need to get one which will fit where the other one goes.Should i get a 95 on - 90 off? Or 90 on - 85 off?

I set my jaycar kit to come on around 93 and off about 87. I set it using the VDO gauge readout which is in Fahrenheit. It will only ever turn off during winter, otherwise summertime (30 deg + days) its on flat chat once up to temperature, but holds it steady around 90-95 degrees, so perhaps that's the one to go for so your fan isn't on as much.
