6 cyl series radiator replacement
What else will work in place of the original radiator for a series 3 6 cylinder? It has the holden 186 motor but looks to be the original radiator. There are a couple of issues with mine getting the radiator cap to seal properly, looks like the opening is slightly distorted instead of being round. It also appears to have had a few repairs over the years.
Are the 4 and 6 cylinder ones different? Do other conversions use a later model better functioning radiator, and if so what works with a minimum of modification? Is the unit from the equivalent holden 6 suitable?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm sure that this question has been asked before....
but, they're different -
6cyl p/n 577383
4cyl p/n 577609
? interchangeable with a little adjustment/modification ?
can't a radiator repairer fix your existing one at a minimal cost ?

You can easily get original radiators new for series 3. I found you can buy the original off Repco stores in SA but a little pricer than the Landrover parts bloke. I got my series 3 radiator repaired with a few tubes closed but it will still work for my weekend adventures with my 6cylinders still keeping cool.
