Had a rock hard pedal when I messed up changing slave cylinder and pulled the fork out of place - 300tdi.
If it's a 300tdi then pretty likely clutch fork.
The slave cylinder failed on the clutch on my '95 Defender earlier today. I replaced it and the master on the side of the road as I had spares.
Problem is that after bleeding, the clutch pedal is rock hard and will not move. I've spent hours trying to search on this forum for answers. Heaps of soft pedals but not rock hard.
Could it be my clutch fork worn through or something else ?
After 21 years of RACQ membership, actually had to call them and get towed home.

My vote would be clutch fork as well.
Thanks all. Spoke to a couple of mechanics today and they all seem to agree it is the fork. Have the vehicle booked in and will update this post after the job is finished

Ok, so it was the clutch fork as I suspected. Nice hole punched through it.
