    Good Disco work shop near Geelong

    Hi all.
    i have a Disco 2 V8 and have had problems with the normal ABS lights.
    Gave up and went to a Independent Land Rover work shop in Geelong and they charged me $80 to plug there lap top in and tell me it's my left hand front ABS sensor. No more than 2 mins work. I'm a sparky and don't charge that per hour.
    well after changing the sensor still no good. All 3 lights still on. Not going back to them. Dose anyone know of a fare Land Rover work shop near Geelong as i'm looking at doing other things to the Disco as well.

    I can't help you with finding one nearby, but I don't rate the one you went to either (if it's the one I'm thinking of).

    I will never go back to them.

    Yeh i cant help you with a good shop either as im looking for one also.
    Keep us posted if you find one.
    I do miss peak and stokes, they charged like a wounded bull But i did get top notch service.
    If your talking about the one a couple of streets north, well i have the same fellings and experiences.
    there is a good reason why one of the owners has just finished building a $1.6 mill house at bucklys falls !!

    Thanks 4 the replies. Yes i think we all now which place i am talking about.
    I have found a work shop here in Ocean Grove that has the Land Rover soft wear and my truck is booked in this Friday.
    I will post on here how it all went.
