    Heavy Duty Axles

    Hi All,
I am going to be getting a rear locker fitted to my range rover soon and while i am getting that done i want to upgrade the rear axles as well.

What i was hoping you can help me with is suggestions on what type i should go for.
I have had a look at the Rovertracks axles but i was wondering what else is out there that i should consider.

    Cheers
    Craig

The 3 best options are probably (in no order)

    Rovertracks - US
    Hi Tough Engineering - Australia
    Ashcrofts - UK

I run HTE rears and Rovertracks fronts (with CV's). No breakages since.

There is now some small amount of slack in the splines on the rears however which I am keeping an eye on.

    Thanks for that.
I was leaning towards the Rovertracks, just wanted to check what else was out there, make sure there isn't any horror stories.

    Cheers

That is the same setup as I run,and I am on my second set of maxi axles as the 1st set suffered from worn & twisted splines.New axles are the X marked axles.

Same, mine are the X ones also, with the 10mm longer engagement.

As for buying stuff from Rovertracks, as has been said, just email or call Keith.
