VERY nice, may have to cook some of them for my Disco, just as soon as I get finish the damned septic tank job I have to do tomorrow.
OK, maybe after I have a shower.
BTW, the new ball joint has arrived, so I'll be under the back of the Disco in a day or so,,,,, again!
Fitted a roof rack to the 130 with the help of my son.
Had a 30k service on the 90. No problems to report :-)
almost installed a 2way. i say almost because i was about to connect the aerial (after installing everything else) and found that the connect seemed to be missing an important component :(
Yesterday, actually, not today, but was too tired to log on last night.
Fitted the station wagon rear springs to the 2a. I have had these springs for about two years, and finally got round to it. Only had to cut one shackle bolt with the angle grinder (front of LH spring), and had to build up the worn hole for the front pin on the RH spring.
This buildup is facilitated by a brass pin the same diameter as the shackle pin - weld will not stick to it.
Also completed a service - this included topping up the gearbox and draining the excess oil from the transfer case. Surprisingly, the overdrive was right on the high mark!

Just got the new drawers installed into the back of my 130. The first of many touring mods to come in the new car.
Two 1.6m long drawers with a drop down fridge slide and 3 1/2 meters of sunken tie down tracks on top. Also the wings have a huge amount of room down there between the wheel arches. I am thinking maybe get a custom water take built to fit in there on the passenger side.
