Not intrusive,

But easy to access.

Thanks, it is a Baintech power supply designed for a GU patrol but fits fine where it is.
You can get universal ones but couldn't find one in Adelaide
This is a link.

I put in an on/off switch at head, removed the engel socket and put in a dual USB socket instead. Works perfectly and is out of the way until I need it. Running it off my second battery via a Baintech fuse box in engine bay so I don't run down main battery.
Spent a couple of hours last night mucking around with the common issue: spare wheel winch.
I removed it and surprisingly it works well without tension, pulls up no issues - releasing just need to make sure I pull on the cable to get rid of the slack.
The issue is - when there's tension - it doesn't pull up at all or release.
Any ideas? (i believe its the opposite to what everyone is experiencing?)

Got a cargo cover for our D3 today.. Sweet!
Booked Felix (2003 Disco) for a check up to sort out intermittent issue when it drops to idle on hot days and fails to do anything elseā¦
Filled up Flandie (1998) for work.
Dreamed about driving The Old Turtle (1961 88) again and ordered some parts from the UK. Ministry of finance not happy...
Still in the process of scraping out the delightfully blue coloured sealant that some idiot squirted all around the injector loom plug on my Td5 Disco.
The product has gone all the way down into the 1mm wide gap at the bottom of the plug - stopping the new male side of the plug from engaging all the way into the female side...there are not too many things in my house or shed that are less than 1.5mm wide, strong enough to scrape this crap out and able to be shoved into this gap.
So far I've tried a small/fine pick set, nappy safety pin, smallest screwdriver I can find, small nails, etc.
Add to that is the fact that the placement of the plug means that you're leaning over the engine bay in a position that does nothing for my sciatica/bulging L5/S1 disc.
Aah, the joys of LR ownership....
Went to do a bit of a service, t'case was empty, topped it up n logged the service.
