Went for a drive up Mount Borah, near Manilla NSW. Checked out what appears to be a world class paragliding destination. Didn't even know it existed in my own backyard.
Got home, parked it up, then had a good gander underneath. Got some APT fabrications diff sliders and Steering guard, as well as one of P Simpson's fuel cooler guards to go on. Going to install after it's upcoming recall work in the turbo hose. So a bit of a test fit was in order.
I subscribe to the "6 P's" of vehicle modification- Proper Preparation (/prevention) Prevents PiS5 Poor Performance.

I rendered the fire place in my disco. Should be nice and toasty for winter camping now!
Ok so no fireplace in the disco, i did do the one in the house though. ;)

Well I Redid the spotties today, got rid of the halogen in favor of 2 x 240w light bars and a pair of Rally 2000's fitted with 100w HID kit

Fitted replacement headlamps assemblies and clear plastic guards to the D2. Old headlamps had stone damaged cracks and would fill with water - not good for the globes either.

Replaced my gear stick
Yep, the gear stick broke off on my ex army 110 Defender!! Right at the ball. That's about 7/16 solid steel rod! Got it out OK and Land Vehicle Spares sent me a 2nd hand one, arrived the next day. Well done guys. I called 2 dealers. One never called me back, the other told me they don't supply them??? In my experience Land Rover dealers in Sydney leave a lot to be desired in the customer service department:mad:.
