Put some LEDs on the gullwings and in the back of the 110.
On the 2A, disassembled the front of the hand throttle, removing the knob and the ratchet arc, so I could bend the lever so that it makes contact with the ratchet all the time. This should stop the loud metallic buzz when the engine vibration coincides with the resonant frequency of the lever.
Also added some packing between the radio unit and the graphic equaliser below it, which should remove another buzz.

To complement the sleeping platform I build last weekend I made up some Flyscreens. Nothing high-tech, but it works.
And as luck would have it my Skeeter beaters arrived from the US this morning.
It's just a fly screen with magnets sown around the edge. Again simple but effective.

All I have left is to install some sort of auto transmission temp probe and to cut some of the bum off the car and I will be done with my work. Or so I like to tell myself....

Flipped the spare wheel carrier to accept a larger tyre. Left the inner skin off and will spend some time this weekend making up a new one with more carry spaces.
Made up a real simple ashtray iPhone holder. Small piece of timber, drill some holes, glue the connectors in, paint, all done.
Rock solid and it still closes.
Driving in the Simpson Desert my instrument cluster decided to fall out. Due to all the corrugations over the last few days. The tabs on either side had snapped. At the next stop i pulled out the duct tape and remade some tabs to screw into. All working great and still holding after 5 more days bouncing around.
Next is to repair the AC mounts. Passenger side has snapped the metal mounts out of the dash. Held up with cable ties for a month until i am home to repair that one.
Took the hacksaw to the steering wheel. With the dish in the new wheel and the supplied boss you would have to steer from the backseat.Turned up a flange and welded to the original boss saved about 80mm
Does'nt vibrate and gives more room off the door
