George's second battery had died, so I got him a new one. The space in front of the airbox is limited so its fairly small so next project will be a bigger deep cycle for the battery box I have sitting in the shed.

Fitted a Nugget Stuff air box and hose to my 130got covered in blue silicon doing the install though
can really feel the air suck down the snorkel now so I guess everything sealed OK........only downside is there is now some vibration telegraphing thru the snorkel (Mantec) which is audible and can be felt if you grab it with your hand........might look at some rubber under windscreen mount.
Mightn't make any difference but my vehicle had the intercooler hose recall done (twice)and it didn't effect fitting the hose to the filter box although it was quiet tight.
most traumatic part of the install was destroying the Land Rover air tube in situ
Cheers
Well, yesterday, not today, attacked the lack of switch labels in the 2a.
Only one switch (wiper) had the label. These are a plastic tag that goes under the nut holding the switch. So I removed the one that I had, scanned it into The Gimp, and copied it four times. Each copy was then lettered with the necessary label, and the set printed onto heavy photo paper.
This was then laminated, and then the tags cut out with scissors and a wad punch. Still have to install them, but they look good.

Oh, fixed the internal light too. A tiny but important job even non-techy I could do.

Replaced the door trim with a Lamipanel and stainless bench
Fitted a hi lift jack bracket to my wheel carrier and a Mudstuff Labcraft LED Scenellite for camping.
Picked the disco up after having the auto done. Doesn't need 2000 rpm to get off the line anymore...

Currently waiting patiently to get my car off the Dyno Station up in Wodonga.
Be interesting to see what the results are for power etc verses fuel usage.
Will post up later in my build thread.
