Thread: What did you do on your Landy today?

Fitted one of those circular front diff guards. I do some paddock driving with knee high grass.

Went to the Department of Transport yesterday with a safety certificate and other documents and shelled out $2115 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for the privilege of transferring the rego. to Queensland. Most of it was stamp duty. So, Campbell Newman certainly got his money's worth out of me.
Then went home and fitted the new plates, so - Queenslander!


Today I'll do the documents to post off to try to get a rebate on the 10 months of NSW registration which was still remaining when I surrendered the NSW plates to the Queensland department yesterday. Fingers crossed.

Cleared the water drain hose for the aircon. No wonder the car was filling with water.

I gave the wiper jets a swap over to a spare set , soaking in vinegar to clean out any gunk , the flushed the reservoir and lines. Amazing the amount of crap that accumulates. Jets work a treat now , and the old ones are steeping until the next change over.

The 110 spent the morning at my tame mechanic's place in town. And it now has a pink slip, and the airconditioning works again. (Leaky valve - and he was the last person to touch that valve!)

Went to start 'Fred', all I got was a click click from the starter solenoid, so turned the airconditioning and the fan off, then tried the key again and 'Fred' started like it always does.

The battery is in good condition, so I had better take notice and start looking for a bad connection.

Gave the Hiline a new water pump and full tank of fuel, so a friend could borrow it while I fix his turbo Falcon.

Engineers cert yesterday, rwc today😆. Rego tomorrow😊
