Raided the local steal merchant's scrap bin for some 65mm x 12mm flat bar. They cut two pieces 140mm long for a $1.00.
Turned them into crossmember spacers for my D2, post 2" lift. Heading off on Sunday with the WA AULROs so hopefully there will not be any clearance issues with the front prop shaft.
Cheers
Ron
Put in diff in the rear and removed front diff and swivel hubs. will try and rebuild swivel hubs today
Put new rims and tyres on:banana:
Basic maintance - oil water fluids
timing kit, new radiator, oil cooler, thermostat, did the valves, they where well overdue and all a bit tight, got some new rear shocks coming this week,
cleaned out the intercooler, all new intercooler hoses, fuel pump tweak, made a big difference
Routine maintenance stuff, lubricated all the door latches, replaced 1 missing bolt from the exhaust system, replaced the radio antenna, made up a new bracket for the UHF to replace a badly mangled one from Lantana last weekend.
Finally finished my dual battery setup.
The best thing is.. it works!
