Thread: Strange Disco Clutch problem

My Series 1 V8 has developed a strange clutch problem.

Clutch still works, changes gear fine, but the pedal only comes back up half way and often sticks to the floor. Once you flick it with your foot it comes back up and you can keep changing gears.

When it is sticks to the floor the clutch is engaged.

Also, if you only lightly press it, it starts to pull down on its own. When it does that the clutch is still engaged.

Any suggestions?

Old and clogged insides not sealing properly? Clean out and smooth the master and slave cylinders and replace the rubber bits - that should fix it.
