    LT95 4 speed Gearbox & Fairy overdrive

Would having a taper roller bearing conversion in above transfer box somehow prevent fitting a fairy overdrive?

I didnt think that the fairy was available for the lt95, just the series box...

but no a TRB conversion wont stop you from fitting one if it was available.

They made a Fairy for the LT95 which is suitable for V8 motors. Don't even think of it behind an Isuzu.

The Fairy Overdrive that fits the LT95 is a different piece of kit to the Fairy Overdrive that fits the series transfer case.

So if you have a series Fairy Overdrive it will not fit a LT95 and vice versa.

With a 4BD1 or even a V8 for that matter, you must try to remember to select direct drive at all times when coming to a stop.Starting off in overdrive 1st and 2nd feeds too much input torque to the overdrive unit that they weren't designed to handle and can result in a split casing which will leave you stranded, unless you carry the standard mainshaft gearand PTO coverplate with you.And fitting those bits on the side of the road can open up a potentially nasty can of worms that most wouldn't want to do.
