    Mate if you choose not to sell it I have got a good centre diff you can have cheap if you want.
    Not hard to do I wonder if the bolts on the low range gear have come undone?

    This is the damage I found so all that noise was the spider gears inside the cdl. there is alot of damage inside the casing as well

    how and what the hell where you doing to do that i have a stage 1 and i have full rev launched multiple times in first gear low with a strap hooked to a landcruiser and didnt even look like braking any thing had to pull the cruiser out side ways was in a bog half way up the doors wasnt fun

    Was like that when i bought it the little trip to make the video was about the longest distance i drove it and was only to get some ideas all 3 vids are one lap around my block. anyone else wanna burn the previous owner go for it bu ti need a centre otherwise i wont be pulling any crusiers out so if some one has one

    BTW DJAM1 and Tebone, u are on the money, yes when i opened the speedometer casing there was a bolt half way unwound good call guys you might find yourselves with pm questions from time to time you have proved yourselves to be wise men great work and ty

    And to everyone else that posted cheers guys it has helped immensely hope to post a vid of all fixed and pulling cruisers out hahaha

    Thats a very common failure when the centre diff isn't locked and wheelspin occurs, good reason for vigilent CDL use

    Yes, this seems to be a favourite failure for that gearbox. It sounds like lots of high-strength Loctite, (maybe 603?), or even wiring the bolt heads is required. There's a thread in Member's Rides where Stirlingsilver had this happen and I think it actually blew a hole in the side of the gearbox housing.

    I also bought all new bolts for mine . . . though it's been a couple of years and I haven't actually put it back together yet!

    well the update is i still have no centerdiff. stage 1 sitting in drive waiting to be driven. pls help been regoed a month and driven less than 30 k's
