Thread: 200 tdi injector pump screw stripped

Hey all, had some issues trying to get some more poke
Out of
My disco, attempted to get a couple
Of turns out of the torx head grub screw in the top of the pump and have stripped the thread on the lock nut when putting it all back together anyone know where I can get my hands on a new grub screw and lock nut? Cheers in advance.

today I done exactly the same thing... the nut had been stuck in place with loctite ... the nut stripped and not the grub screw which was fortunate.

At the moment the grub screw is in without the locking nut and is quite tight with the loctite remnants on the thread.. I figure you can get any old nut that fits the thread to lock it in place?

Did you damage your grub screw also? That might be harder to source.

Any progress?
