Thread: Welding up a limited slip diff.

    Got a pic of what yours looks like?

    I have seen diffs that have had all the guts removed except for the side gears, then a tube welded to bridge the side gears, plus the side gears welded to the case. Similar to a (mini)spool.

    It all depends on if you have enough access though.

    I took it for a spin in the dirt today, and both wheels spin nice and even, so the LSD must be tighter than I first assumed. Once I groove the tyres I'll give it another look, but I think it will be fine.
