I have'nt had a chance to get it on the road, nor have I looked at the reluctor gap.
As my timing light has absconded, I'm not keen on fiddling whilst in complete ignorance.
As a matter of interest, if the pickup leads are reversed, that is, the RED lead from dizzy goes to the skinny terminal, the timing is either hugely advance or happening somewhere else it should'nt. Engine either backfires or, in my case, cranks as though the compressions are almost too much and it virtually stops on each one... I realized after the first pause that Something Was Rong.
This is why Bee supplies a second pair of terminals.... 'cos he knows that "everyone" will do this...
The BLUE wire from the dizzy should go to the skinny terminal on the top-end. The RED wire goes to the 2nd terminal.
