    Thumbs up Fuel Pumps

    Some where amongst the threads I read some one pointed out that a commodre fuel pump could be used for a rangy or a disco. I have a 1986 rangy and a 1996 disco. I can't find that thread, could the author please provide that info again

    Try 'using a commodore fuel pump in a landrover' websearch - it brings up the AULRO references easily enough. Select pics and that should help too.

    nb: Just remember that the VN in tank pump comes in two pressure ratings - select the higher.

    I have been using the Bosch pump kit part no. BFP772 for replacing these, no big probs so far. You may need to purchase some "in-tank fuel hose" if you can't get the plastic hose on the later assembly to fit. It takes a bit of creative force to get it off and a new clamp to seal onto the replacement pump.
