    Anyway, did you guys work out how that cooler line started leaking in the first place? I don't know about these boxes but it looks like a flared pipe and nut, and they don't usually just come loose.
    No idea. The car had been fine, and well serviced while the son was still an the Army. He did take it off-road a lot, and he and I got humungously bogged one day, so it's possible it got knocked. Don't think he's got any enemies. Or, if he does, they're probably in Iraq.

    Just an update. We went with a nulon synthetic. The box is an absolute delight, and the pain of the customs and import stuff is rapidly fading. I'd definitely get another Ashcroft, provided I did some research into the import thing.
