    D1 / RRC parts compatibility

    Found some spares from my old 85 RRC mainly bushes and seals , i want to use the panhard rod and front radius arm to diff bushes if they fit ?
    MY08 TDV6 SE D3- permagrin ooh yeah
    2004 Jayco Freedom tin tent
    1998 Triumph Daytona T595
    1974 VW Kombi bus
    1958 Holden FC special sedan

    The panhard rod fits, but the bushings/bolts are different. Half inch bolts on the RRC, 14mm or thereabouts on the later discos.
    You can swap the bushing over and it's all good.

    Thanks mate, i thought there was a difference in the radius bushes - at least the panhards i can use since theyre polyurethane .

    Oh yeah, radius arms.
    Same bolt diameter, same bush OD but different bush inner sleeve width and wider spaced brackets on the disco axle.

    You can either swap bushings to suit or simply pack the width out to match.
