    Found it. It was issued later than I thought.

    19/01/97EN
    Fit revised gasket ERR7339 to prevent the pump overstroking.

    Thanks, Scott. Just called Brad and he'd done that - just about to take it for a test drive.

    The first pump lasted less than an hour, the second long enough for the owner to get to near Penrith from Mt Tomah.
