    The disco 300TDi came with a round air filter and was plumbed in the side (Safari), the filters took no time to clog up and you could rotate the filter to a clean spot but only around 3 times and then it was cactus. The round filter getting it's air from the front as it was designed to do, lasted 3 times longer than a completely clogged round filter fed from the side, it's just commonsense. I swapped the V8 filter over (pic end feed) onto the Disco 300tdi and a filter lasts a good 12 months of off-road driving, cost a few dollars, couple of plastic pipe fittings and a few self tappers, cut the trumpet off the end piece and fit, easy peasy, Regards Frank.

    Hey that looks good, how do you go with engine flex as it revs?

    The hose from the manifold to the MAF is a very flexy (eg VN Commodore) inlet hose.

    I see now, couldn't see it on my phone. Going to have a look and see how hard to modify mine from side entry to like yours as it is a much better design
