Its a shame im not on the mainland as Im currently in tassie as I would have driven up to give you a hand. Id pull the head as the worse case situation is that you have to put it back together with the old gaskets.
Have you a time restriction as to when you have to be mobile?

What's the verdict after disassembly? I don't have your number as it came up as "blocked " when you called.
