Hey Guys, sorted the problem out - well landrover did anyway.
Turns out that one of the turbo hoses decided to delaminate internally - so my Puma developed asthma. I wonder if there is a heap of s##t stuck in the intercooler now and working its way into the engine?
The tow truck driver tells me that he has seen it a number of times.
(So much for a software fault....)
Found the replacement part number on the hose
# LR029650
This is the passenger side intercooler hose adjacent the powersteering reservoir and the washer fluid. Connects directly to the intercooler.
Hope this helps others.
hey tank, check your pm's
cheers,
phil
