TD5 leaking diesel from fuel tank
I am leaking diesel from the top of the tank, so assume I need to replace the hoses between the tank and the fuel filter.
If I need to do one, should I do all four?
from the access hatch, it appears it may be the blue hose, searching the internet, suggests it is the green that goes more often.
do I need to drop the tank to change these hoses?
I can buy the 4 hoses as a set from LRdirect for 98 pound + postage, any body had a better deal elsewhere?
if I buy these, I also need to replace my key fob, the press buttons are staring to break up, I need a LR partnumber.
as an aside, I replaced the FPR two weeks ago, second time in two years, ( now done 273K kms), this time only replacing the regulator with a geniune bosch part.
Why is it every thing that breaks, fails on my TD5 has happened to everyone else? do you have grazed knuckles too? every thing is just so hard to get to!
Thanks in anticipation,
Giles
patience is a virtue, why else would you drive a landrover disco since Jan 2000, (current one since Dec 2004)

This was a recall. Not sure if it's still honoured.

Tagline says it all
Someone's tagline on this forum says it all "Landrovers - making mechanics out of motorists since 1948"
