Perentie - Tubeless Tyres

Been doing this for over 20 years Matt without any problems. Lots of discussion on the legal implications from an insurance point of view but in my case I have never had to face this problem as nothing has been a problem!! 235/83R16 fit pretty well on 6 0r 6.5 rims.

Yep. Lots have.
I haven't. I fixed my deflating problem by replacing the cheap tube with one of Bearman's cast offs.
I'll rum tubes in mine as long as the tube supply lasts.

Among my collection of Wolf rims are five that I originally bought with Goodrich mud terrain tyres on that are tubeless type. However, do not have Land Rover part number on them. Appear identical to genuine ones though. Seems they were made in same factory but sold on aftermarket and imported to Western Australia. Had a half inch hole for teat rather than five eighth like others. I have fitted tubes as tubeless tyres started intermittently leaking as they got older. First one before I bored the small holes out. ( Remove tyre from rim to do this as all it takes is one sliver of metal to cause slow leak in tube.) The then hopeless management of local tyre service fitted a tube with the larger teat through smaller hole and balanced it. Subsequently had a vibration problem above about 80kph that took ages to find. This tube with teat not poking out properly was balanced at low speeds but obviously moved under centrifugal force.
