I'm told the shift points in the V8 trans are significantly different to the diesel, may not matter if you shift manually. The kick down cable may be different.
The fuel tank just needs the pickup assembly modded to remove the EFI pump, the fuel lines should work just fine.
Air cleaner is very similar, you should be able to adapt the 300tdi intake hose to your existing box.
Chassis mounts for the engine are the critical bits, I'm sure you'll find someone to cut off a set for you.
Wiring is just a case of ditching the EFI loom, running the ignition coil +ve to the stop solenoid, and extending the starter, oil pressure and alternator wires to suit.
