    cranking battery for MY08 Disco 3 TDV6

    Folks,
    the battery in my D3 is starting to look like it will soon die, not quite the same urge cranking over and sat night I had the radio blaring while I was doing some work in the shed for a couple of hours. When I went to start it no go, solenoid clicking over and had to throw it on the charger for a couple of hours.

    I did notice that reset the trip computer etc. Did the cheat method of leaving the battery connected, no damage done hopefully.

    Anyway I am expecting the battery to die some time soon so what is best source for OEM battery?

    After market options?

    All probably asked a million times so apologies if so.

    In general I would buy anyway AGM battery.
    If your car not in everyday use think about deep cycle battery, or if you need often more amps (e.g. for electric winch) you can think about spiral cell or other special design.
    The best if you choose the biggest capacity in the size which fits into your car.
