Thread: A tip from Auber Instruments

I enquired of Auber instruments about ordering an item from their website instead of their ebay site. I received the following advice.

Hello Don,
Please order it directly from our web. You can pay either with Visa or Paypal. Actually, 90% of our shipment to Australia were ordered directly from our web. Only 7-8% of the sale were from ebay. Our prices on ebay are also 13% higher due to the ebay fees.

A refreshing attitude from an American Company. Most respond to approaches like this with firm NO.

I have nothing but praise for them. My EGT arrived without the threaded NPT collar in the pack. I tooka photo of all the bits and emailed it to them, one day later via DHL overnight (must have cost them a fortune) the collar arrived.
Great people to deal with.
