My warn came with a wireless remote. It is handy, but "winds on" for 1 or 2 seconds after you take your finger off the button... so long as you are aware of it when rigging up or at the end of respooling its not really an issue.
POD,
Even if theres no dang fangled frequency selection stuff... what about running switches into the cab to isolate each winch? That way you can make sure there's no accidental activation - either by you or anyone else

Thanks for the replies guys i was thinking along the same lines of solo recovery, a hi mount has like 30m+ of cable and the easy of use with a remote would be a bonus. I would use a hard wired dash button in the car personal, maybe i should have been more precise in my question.
