the NV4500 was used in Dodges and GM vehicles. ($3.5-4.5K) plus adaptor.
gear ratios are.
1st: 5.61-1
2nd: 3.04-1
3rd: 1.67-1
4th: 1-1
5th: .73-1
swapping in the toy centres gives you the advatage of a Hipinion reverse cut front diff.
you get 30 spline axles front and rear, far stronger than the rover axles.
you get the option of running chrome molly cv from the US.
not a bad option reall y and at reasonable cost.
eventually I will complete the artical on the installation.
regards
Michael.

Gents,
Thanks for the tips.
I can't run high pinion front diff as I am pushing for clearance between the front diff and sump as it. Low pinion reverse cut sounds what I need.
The NV4500 sounds good. How are they to use? Do they shift like a truck?
I hope to have my car mobile again within a few weeks. I will post some photos of it and the motor fit (squeeze) then.
