HAVE YOU ELIMINATED ENGINE MOUNTS? SOUNDS CAN TRAVEL THE LENGTH OF THE VEHICLE. IF OK GRAB YOUR BIGGEST SHIFTER AND TIGHTEN ALL THE BIG NUTS AND BOLTS UNDER THERE. ESPECIALLY THE PANHARD RODS AND RADIUS ARMS. CHECK ALSO THE THREE BOLTS THAT HOLD THE SHOCK MOUNTS ONTO THE CHASSIS RAILS.
ONE LAST CHECK TO MAKE: MAKE SURE NOTHING IS ROLLING AROUND IN THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE...(EG. BOTTLE OF DRINK) I GOT KIDS AND THEREFORE LOTS OF STRANGE NOISES AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN IN THE CAR...WHICH CAN ONLY BE HEARD WHEN IM DRIVING ALONE (WITHOUT ALL THE WHINGEING AND FIGHTING)
WERE THEY STILL FITTING THOSE BOGE SELF LEVELLING UNITS ON YOUR MODEL? THEY WERE NOTORIOUS FOR CLUNKS AND NOT MUCH ELSE.
CHEERS,
TONY

Isn't everyone Just wanted him to tell me what was wrong, so I can fix it.... he said it's the bushes and probably the ball joint on the A-frame, knew all need replacing in the next 6 months. So will do it over long weekend, hopefully.Originally posted by Hellspawn

That's not being a mechanic, that's being an apprentice. Originally posted by matbor
