Rover V8 forum ?

I am interested to modify my V8. Can anybody recommend any suitable forum for me ? (This is 2 carbys engine, not inj.)

There are a few clever people here that can help you,,


my advice is ---
spend it (nearly) all on the heads,,,
leave enough to balance the rest,,,
BIG valves, lots of porting, weld up the combustion chambers,,,
GOOD gaskets,, the more you spend the thinner they are,,

the other way open to you is to go to a reputable engine rebuilder,,,

cant reccommend anyone in VIC,,, but there will be a few who are good at Rovers,,,.

Thanks. I want to do everything by myself, I just need advices, informations. That's why I asked for forum rather than V8 specialists...

Hmmm,, a home build??

only problem is
the engine has to be torn down
before a rebuild can be done.

but,

The process is VERY satisfying ,,,,

I would LUV to be able to rebuild my 3.5 in a garage,,,,

my last baby,, a 2.238 L series nissan is still AOK,, or so Im told,,,

The biggest trouble for me is, that English is my second, I am still learning and it happens that I confuse something, say something strange or stupid, not beeing even aware about that [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img] ...
