    AIR box / modification 3.5EFI

    gday,

    im just curious as to what can be done to the air intake of the 3.5efi v8. i dont have a snorkel, but would like to fit one at some point. Anyone here know how they fit the snokel?
    even just a link or somethin,

    they dont have rangie in the list, but i assume that you could get one rated for a V8 Disco and just modify it a bit. The part im more worried about is how it goes through from the engine to the outside.
    Anyone here done it?

    excellent, thanks heaps, that just what i was after.
    Am i right in saying that because he has an aftermarket computer system (Haltech), it doesnt require the Air Flow Meter?

    that is a top link though, fantastic. he has some great material on there and also some good links.

    when I get around to it - maybe Christmas time I will getting out local exhaust people to bend up some 3" pipe like Ron's.

    But before that there are still plenty of other things to do!!!

    i reacon it wouldnt bee to hard to move the Air Flow Meter so that it is straight out from the plenum chamber, then run the tubing from that, out the top of the engine bay similar to rons, cos im guessing that a Haltech EFI system would be expensive (possibly worth it!)

    im not in any rush to put a snorkel on at the mo. but most likely will at some point. Also, by doing so, it then opens up the front area for a Second Battery as well.
