Thanks, but I can't get that link to work, I think it needs a login. Can you post P/N's?

    like the Isuzu?

I think you will find some differences, like the Isuzu has some rubber bonded on to it in areas that need better sealing? I could well be wrong???

    all "no hole" mls gaskets

    61-36655-00 1.3mm
    61-36655-10 1.4mm
    61-36655-20 1.5mm
    61-36655-30 1.6mm

they also list "holed" gaskets with a 61-34465 prefix but don't describe them as mls so these are maybe composite

try this link and work through it if you want Catalog - Sealing Products Victor Reinz Aftermarket

The Isuzu gasket has folded rings around each cylinder and rubber mouldings around the water and oil passages. I used an aftermarket composite gasket on the Isuzu once. I think it let go at 18psi. My Nissans use MLS and Perkins 6.354's do too.

I'm getting nothing solid for sellers of MLS gaskets. One ebay seller is listing a gasket with no maker mentioned but says "later layered steel design".

Im pretty sure the genuine hs2.8tgv head gasket, which is mls, did not have any bonded rubber...

My nearest LR independent has both MLS and composite in stock. Apparently some old guys only want composite.

I'm replacing with a composite gasket.

Reusing an old style head and it won't be surfaced, just cleaned and refitted.

I'd go with an MLS gasket if I bought a new AMC head and was cranking the boost up.
