    300 TDI going into a Series 3

    G'day Guys,

    While at LVS, Brian was showing me one of his projects for a customer - putting a 300 TDi / R380 gearbox from a Disco into a S3 chassis:

    Keener then me I can tell you. I'd rather just buy a Defender with coils, Disc brakes A/C etc. I reckon if you were paying someone it would cost the same and every thing else is 20 years newer. I couldn't be bothered with that type of stuff any more, hell can't even get around to changing the water and oil in my E type jag.

    But personally I'd go a V8/auto combo [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]
