    Defender - steel wheels

    Hi,

I've been trying to source a set of 5 steel wheel rims for my 2004 Defender Xtreme. 2nd hand LR wheels seem to be scarce in the Melbourne area at the moment, and I'm wondering about other makes of wheels.

Anybody have any feedback on what are the best ones to go for?

    Any information would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Lionel

Speedy Wheels make wheels to fit. Do you want 15" or 16"?

16x7,better offset (same as your alloys) than the standard Defender steel rim.The earlier 130 Defender steel rims(16x7) are better than the standard (16x5.5) but are as rare as rocking horse poo.

I think you'll find that they are all 33mm offset. It is stamped on the rim. The 130 might have a different offset. The SII FC had 27mm offset, I think.

The Defender steels aren't worth much, but Disco steels are worth about $120 ea here. 8O

If you've got any room left, fill up the back of your 90 with 'em.

BTW, AEU2522's are $750 ea from Maxidrive, and what, about 40 quid over there?
