does anyone know how to stop the wipers from working when i press the washers?

the wipers start to wipe before the the washer pump has even had a chance to prime up.......loads of fun when your glass is coverd in dust or mud.

i would like to first wet the glass then turn on the wipers when im ready(that is after most of the crud has run off the glass).

theres gotta be a wire i can cut to stop this.
has anyone done this mod before?

At most times its ok ,but in the winter we get our roads salted, and it gets thrown up on the the screen,it appaers as white film, and the sreen needs washing real quick, the first 'swipe' of the wipers makes the screen blind and you carnt see nothing till the washer water makes it onto the screen,by then the wipers have already done there 3rd 'swipe' 8O
