what is AN egt? or better still what does egt stand for? is what i meanted
is it 'exhaust gas temperature'?

Correct, EGT = exhaust gas temperatures.
AFAIK this cannot be done to a td5 because they do not use the bosch VE mechanical injector pump. Besides, if you aleady have a td5 - dont be greedy!!! :wink:
