    RE ADams Comment

I'll just add a quick note to that. The bat and trialer weigh obout 1.2 tonnes and recently when it was recovering the lot at a steepish beach (sand) with the tide coming in (and no low range) I couldn't develop enough ergs to get out. The rear wheels wouldn't spin in the wet sand, which would have been helpful n digging (I know this sounds like a recipe for disaster but at this location it wasn't), lack of total torque and the overall weight conspired to a quick dig by the crew to clear the rear wheels; the back end was turning equally.

    Cheers, GQ

    LRH,

If Peter de Quant can fit a Datsun 240Z body on a RR chassis (see the recent 4WD Monthly with the blue Defender on the cover) I can't see why they'd worry about fitting a RR body on a Disco chassis.

Give Peter a call at Range Parts at Wentworthville. He's a helpful bloke.

Years ago there was such an XJ6 conversion - I think it was in Overlander... waaaaayyyyy back,
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
