 Winch Motor
Well the other day I decided to service my Runva EXW12000 winch before our trip to Fraser Island. Upon removing the winch I disconnected battery leads and leads from solenoid, the leads to the winch from solenoid are very corroded as they had rubber boots on the studs which has trapped water and rusted the studs. Anyways after clean up and loosen I have had to remove all the studs and remove the winding ends from the stud head. I used a torch with no luck and a soldering iron to help remove the windings from the studs. Ending up cutting off the winding ends as close as possible to retain length. Im curious on how to reattach the winding ends to new studs. Obviously made in a factory that has correct tools for the job, but what can I do at home to re affix to get my motor up and running!
Regards
Billy
