    Flatspots on tyres

Oh, dear. The 101 has been sitting around for six months. It was going to go for a short run in Feruary but an empty fuel tank put the kybosh on that.
So it's been sitting around. Today, I took it for a run. There was a hell of a vibration from the rear.
I replaced the rear wheels with the spares. Vibration gone. The tyres have flatspotted from sitting around.

Now the question. Will the flat spot heal itself with time? What can I do to help it heal?

They should sort themselves out. They need to be driven and warmed up. It might take 5 or 10km if the flat spots are bad.

Unless the tyres are really old then the flatspots wont run out with driving.

so long as the rubber hasnt cured in place they'll drive back into round it takes a while.

sometimes running lower pressures ffor a bit to help the tyres warm up and flex helps but if cracks have developed around the edges of where the flatspots are the rubbers gone and the tyres are knackered and dangerous
