    Disco 2 over fueling 4.6 V8

    Hi all.
Disco 2a fitted with 4.6, stage 1 cam, RR 4.6 AFM and ECU remapped by Mark Adams. OK now you know what iv'e got. can you help me.
I got the truck not running. replaced the old 4L with 4.6 and was over fueling from the start. i did replace the air filter for K&N, change the AFM and o2 sensors before the ECU upgrade. I was thinking maybe not setup for the 4.6.
But after the re-mapping still the same. I had it on a Dyno and 79.1kw on petrol, 80.9kw on gas. Well below the stock 4L. The runs smooth but smells of fuel and fuel economy is well below my last Dosco V8. The Dyno guys said running really rich.
Any help as to were to look next. Can supply Dyno prints.

    Matt & Jo.

K&N filters , I've seen a few oily Mafs because of them which is no good..
    Leaky injectors?
    air leak in engine?
    Faulty MAF?
    Temp sensors?
O2 Sensors what brand did you fit? as some of aftermarket ones can cause wrong readings
But could be anything as you have change things. it'll be a process of elimination.

Are you sure the Cam was indexed correctly?

Hi Guys. thanks for the reply's
i changed the air filter to K&M to try and fix the fuel problem. i will go back to standard as i have just installed a new AFM. o2 sensors are aftermarket. maybe they don't match. will put the old ones back in next week.
As for cam? Can you please explain more. I asked for a towing cam to fit a 4.6.
is there something i have missed.
And temp sensor?. haven't change this. But once the engine has warmed up the Auto locks in top gear. dose mean the temp sensor is working?.

    just as a comparison--
my auto will lock up in top, stone cold at less than 60.

as for the fueling, its usually the MAF.

    have you seen any LTFT's M&J ?

you can do this pretty cheaply,,

    MAF;s dont like KN,,
