    Angry Help.... V8 89 supercharged Range Rover

    Hi all I am in desperate need of some assistance. I have an 89 RangeRover that had a 3.5 injected motor with a sprintex supercharger on it that was running ok but a little rough at times, without mentioning any names I too it to a Brisbane mechanic that was recommended to me and long story short $8600. later got it back and have had troubles with it ever since. I have spent another $3 or 4K on it with others and still no luck it now has a Haltech ECU (paid the first guy $600. to have the factory ECU rebuilt to then be told that it would never cope) I got rid of the flapper air unit but it won't even idle. Thing is I have run out of money after a 4 year divorce and still have this thing that won't run... does anyone in brisbane work on modified Range rovers or have any idea how to get a base setting into it so I can at least move it around and hopefully get my motivation back to finnish the project???     Man I feel for you with the divorce thing, been there done that


    So you've taken out the flapper air flow meter. So is the Haltech using a MAP or MAF for intake air volume? What happened just before it stopped? Has it ever run on the Haltech? Getting spark and fuel? Engine in good nick, compression readings? What model Haltech? Has it ever been tuned?


    The list of what you've had done for $12,000 bucks must be a long one! Can you give more info on what was done.




    Post some detailed photos of your set up so we can see where your at.


    I'm more of a turbo guy than superchargers but same principal.
