    My County has sheet metal covers over the strike on the pillar. The covers slice through shirts and pants. I have several damaged in this way.

    I have some small section grommetting rubber which I'll glue around the edge to prevent it.

    True but at least I know I will safly crack my skull open on the B pillar and not the window on a crash 8O . Windows hurt enough!

    How about this for solving the problem.

    Karcraft sell the whole business for under $12.

    They only had one in stock.
