If it went out, you cleared it. I'd suggest that the fault itself has come back. What was the fault code reading?
Another member asked me for help, using my Nanocom Evo, which has the unlock for TD5 Disco. His car is a Defender, TD5. His issue is with TC and ABS lights lit. He had got a previous diagnosis that he had a faulty ABS sensor, which he had replaced. All he wanted was to clear the fault, so, why not, give it a go. Well, the Nanocom, in it's D2 mode, found the fault, and said it had cleared it. The lights went out, but very quickly came back on upon driving.
What I'm asking is, were we being fooled by the supposed clearing of the fault, or was the fault being cleared and then reappearing because the issue still exists? My instinct is that the fault still exists, but I don't know the Nanocom that well.
I actually have the Defender code, but stupidly didn't load it properly.

The ABS management is the same for Td5 D2 and Defender, both are on WABCO D just that the D2's SLABS has additional SLS side added which is in the same box but independant... the fact that the warnings went out it means that the fault was initially cleared but since they came back after a short drive it's most likely sensor related. If the code is for the same sensor which was replaced the problem is not with the sensor but with it's ''relation'' with the reluctor ring cos if it was the sensor it would have not passed the stationary voltage test and the amigos should have came back witout driving. It seems the same like the D2's hub failure but i dont know how this is on Defender

I have to confess my ignorance here. I gain a lot from reading the threads, but have never ventured into the physical side of this on LRs. The fault apparently is always the same LHR. The owner has replaced the sensor with an aftermarket jobbie, and simply wanted the fault cleared, which is where I came in.
Assuming that the new sensor isn't at fault, and it was installed correctly, what other "relationship" with the ring could be compromised, given this is on the rear? A hub failure would surely be showing other symptoms?
The car isn't mine, and it's not here, but I ask to learn, and to maybe help him out.
